Juan F. Lago
I view small businesses as the engine of the economy, and my job is to do everything I can to help them succeed in today's market.
Juan Lago is the manager of Atlantic Capital Bank’s specialized lending initiative, which is focused on SBA lending. Mr. Lago has over 30 years of commercial lending experience and is an expert in SBA lending. Prior to joining Atlantic Capital, Mr. Lago worked with Ameris Bank in the Atlanta region as SBA lending manager. Before Ameris Bank, Mr. Lago was senior lending officer of First Intercontinental Bank.

Mr. Lago has vast experience in international banking, risk management, and SBA Lending. In 1999 SouthTrust Bank recruited Mr. Lago to expand its Atlanta SBA Lending Department into a bank-wide department serving seven states. He worked there as a group vice president until the merger of SouthTrust Bank with Wachovia Corporation in 2005.

Mr. Lago has a Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University and an MBA degree from the University of Houston.  He is active in the Rotary Club of Dunwoody.

Mr. Shreiner is the Executive Vice President and Group Executive for the Corporate Financial Services Group at Atlantic Capital Bank. He has 26 years of experience in client and credit management with a diverse international and domestic background.
 
From 2002-2005 Mr. Shreiner served as the Managing Director and Group Head for Wachovia Securities’ Continental European Group. In that role, he supervised strategic direction, financial performance and client management of the corporate and investment banking team responsible for European corporations and their subsidiaries. He has extensive experience working with the European corporate market and with US-based subsidiaries of global clients. He also worked as the Managing Director and Group Head for Wachovia Securities’ International Corporate Finance Portfolio from 2001 to 2003.
 
Prior to his work with Wachovia in Atlanta, Mr. Shreiner led the bank’s London branch during its transition from representative office to corporate banking branch. As the General Manager, he was responsible for setting market strategies for European corporate banking business and was the primary contact for UK and US bank regulators.
 
Mr. Shreiner graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce.
