Press Release: The Metro Atlanta Chamber Names Atlantic Capital Bank As A Finalist For The 2013 Global Impact Awards

Recognizing excellence and innovation in international business, Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) has picked 12 outstanding Atlanta companies as finalists in four categories for the 2013 Global Impact Awards.
Finalists include Infosys, Neurok Software LLC, Utility Service LLC, Global Payments Inc., EndoChoice, Bluewater Energy, United Parcel Service, Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., Atlantic Capital Bank, Manufacturing Resources International, @International Services and AGCO Corp.
Winners will be announced at an April 24 awards luncheon at the Georgia Aquarium. The keynote speaker for the event is Alan Dabbiere, Chairman of fast-growing mobile device and management security company AirWatch.
This year's Global Impact Award, recognizing an outstanding leader in international business, will be awarded to Walter Bastian, Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Western Hemisphere, U.S. Department of Commerce International Trade Administration. As deputy assistant secretary of commerce, Bastian is responsible for developing programs, policies and strategies designed to strengthen the United States' commercial position in the Western Hemisphere.
In the category of Foreign Direct Investment, the finalists are: Neurok Software LLC , Infosys, and Utility Service LLC. The FDI category recognizes companies that have established a presence in metro Atlanta that has been significant in terms of capital investment, high quality job creation, community leadership and sustainable practices.
In the category of Trade, the finalists are: Global Payments, EndoChoice and Bluewater Energy. The Trade category recognizes a company that has operations in metro Atlanta and has exhibited significant growth in terms of capital investment and high quality job creation as a result of international trade, community leadership and sustainable practices.
In the category of Service Provider, the finalists are: Atlantic Capital Bank, United Parcel Service, Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. The Service Provider category recognizes a company in metro Atlanta that has played a significant role in increasing high quality job creation by attracting capital investment to metro Atlanta and by fostering international trade through methods that go above and beyond the normal scope of business. This category also recognizes companies that have taken an active role in the leadership or betterment of our community at large and employed sustainable practices.
In the category of Innovation, the finalists are: AGCO, @International Services and Manufacturing Resources International. The Innovation category recognizes a company that has introduced and leveraged innovation to grow in 2012.
Each year, The Global Impact Awards represent excellence and innovation in international business, honoring MAC members who have gone above and beyond, exhibiting excellence in the area of global commerce.
