(Atlanta, GA - June 27, 2013) Atlantic Capital Bank is pleased to announce that Nathan Ottinger has joined the Bank as Senior Vice President and Leader of Payments Industry Banking. Mr. Ottinger has over  18 years of experience in corporate banking and payments services. He was hired to accelerate the growth of Atlantic Capital's payments business in order to meet rising client demand for reliable payments processing services. The Atlantic Capital Payments Industry Banking team focuses exclusively on the unique banking requirements demanded by clients whose operating model revolves around timely, accurate and cost effective electronic payments. 

 

Kurt Shreiner, Executive Vice President of Corporate Financial Services, commended Mr. Ottinger's hire, saying, "During the past two years we have seen our payments business grow rapidly as Atlanta has become a global destination for payment companies. Mr. Ottinger comes to Atlantic Capital from High Street Partners, where he served as Director of Business Development. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President at Silicon Valley Bank in Atlanta. While there, Mr. Ottinger managed the Bank's Relationship Development team in the Southeast, providing commercial banking services to the technology, life sciences, venture capital and private equity industries.  He also led the bank's global cash management and payment services efforts in the southeastern US. Mr. Ottinger has served on the Boards of the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG), the MIT Forum and the Florida Venture Forum.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State University with BS and BA degrees in Finance and International Economics.

 

In his new role at Atlantic Capital, Mr. Ottinger will lead the Payments Industry Banking team to support clients across multiple industry segments, including:  Payroll Services, B2B payments,  Professional Employer Organizations (PEO), FinTech and other business services firms.  Mr. Ottinger commented,  "Our Payments Industry clients require a banking partner that can deliver the technical know-how and service expertise to support their ACH transaction activity.
